A work permit with real job for Europe is a legal authorization for foreign nationals to work in a specific European country. For this, an individual would require a job offer from a local employer of the country from where he wishes to apply. Once you secure the job, the employer will apply for your work permit on your behalf. After receiving your work permit, you can then apply for your visa through the visa application centres and consulates / embassies in your home country and wait for the completion of the process in order to relocate. For the processing of visa, the applicant would require a valid passport, job contract, proof of qualifications and financial documents, along with some additional documents like Police Clearance Certificate with Apostille stamp, Air Travel Ticket, Travel Insurance etc. The requirements may vary country to country and sometimes you may also need to attend an interview.

In case you do not wish to continue working with that employer, you can take up a job on your own with any other employer of your choice and in any of the other Schengen Country of your choice. After completion of 02 years of work in any of the Schengen Country, you will be eligible for the Permanent Residence of the country where you would be residing and after completion of 05 years of work and stay in any of the Schengen Country, you will be qualified to get the citizenship of that country where you are residing or wish to reside and settle.
